David Hochschild and Jeanine Cotter, two leading experts in the solar industry, will join Phil Ting for a discussion about the future of solar in San Francisco and the importance of preserving our local solar incentive programs. The discussion will be webcast live on the online community Reset San Francisco
, where viewers can submit questions in real-time to the solar experts.
The conversation will likely cover a wide range of solar topics including the City's GoSolarSF program as well as other solar incentive programs, green jobs in San Francisco, the green tech industry and much more.
The "Ask an Expert" series is part of a vision shared by Phil Ting and members of the Reset San Francisco community to tap the wisdom and energy of an online community to help reform San Francisco government. The site is pioneering Gov 2.0 tools, such as streaming video and social media, to crowdsource civic engagement in better government.

About Phil Ting
Phil Ting is the co-founder of San Francisco's Solar Task Force, which initially proposed the GoSolarSF program. The GoSolarSF program has created 5MW of solar power, helped create numerous green jobs in San Francisco, and helped attract nearly a dozen new solar companies to the city. Ting is also co-chair of ChinaSF, a public/private partnership that is creating local jobs by helping attract new Asian-based businesses to the city. As Assessor-Recorder of San Francisco, Phil Ting is a solutions-focused, innovative reformer whose efforts have enabled him to generate over $245 million in new revenue for San Francisco by making sure everyone pays their fair share in property taxes. Ting was appointed and most recently re-elected in 2010.
