Tacoma RV Park, Sumner RV Park
Where can you find a Senior "Age 55" RV park with huge 50' x 85' lots, amenities such as covered parking, personal storage buildings at each site, that caters to RVer's who call their RV home?
Riverpark Estates Extended Stay RV Park in Sumner, Washington has been developed to meet the unique needs of Full Timer RVer's who will typically reside in one location for months or years. A particular demographic that developer and owner, Don Tucker says has all too often been overlooked. "More people are living in their RV's today than ever before. Our goal is to cater to seniors who have chosen the full-timer lifestyle, not out of necessity, but rather as a conscious lifestyle choice." The only downside is there are only a total of 36 lots, one-third of those lots are already reserved. There are restrictions on the age, type and condition of the RV and all potential applicants must pass a three-part credit, criminal and rental history background check.
Included in the $375/month grand-opening rent is WI-FI, Cable Television, water, sewer and garbage. Resident's will have their choice of a one-year lease or a month-to-month rental contract. Tucker says, "In response to a changing industry, the state of Washington recently passed legislation granting Full Timer RVer's the same rights and privileges as persons residing in mobile home parks." Tucker goes on to say that; "Without that legislation Full Time RVers were often discriminated against by local and/or state government."
